API - Performance, Security, & Reliability Update
Incident Report for Kustomer
Resolved
The Kustomer engineering team made some necessary changes to our infrastructure this morning to improve performance, security, and reliability following Amazon Web Service best practices.

While we previously ignored this, sending a GET request with data in the body will now return a 403 error. This error comes directly from AWS Cloudfront servers.

If you have experienced this 403 error, you'll want to have your development team update any API calls your back end systems are making to not include any data in the body of your GET requests.

For more information on this change, please review this article from AWS: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/RequestAndResponseBehaviorCustomOrigin.html#RequestCustom-get-body
